To support and foster the increase of qualified arts education candidates - MAEA provides a scholarship annually to a MD state high school senior wanting to become an arts educator and planning to enter into the field arts education program. Click for more information!

New Teacher Micro-grants
Are you a new MAEA member and Visual Arts Teacher. Th MAEA micro-grants will award up to $500 to new teachers (3 years or less teaching) to aid in getting supplies for special projects that support state and national strategic goals and standards. Click for more information!

Youth Art Month 2018
Dear MAEA members, I know your students have been working hard on their YAM flag/banner designs. The time has come to submit them! Please fill out an entry form for you flag, and a permission/release form for EACH student that contributed to the flag. (You will need one entry form, but maybe more than one release forms depending on the number of contributing artists). Please submit all entries digitally by Dec 8, 2017 to the form and upload your images at marylandarted.org/ya
