To support and foster the increase of qualified arts education candidates - MAEA provides a scholarship annually to a MD state high school senior or an MAEA pre-service teacher wanting to become an arts educator and planning to enter into the field arts education program. MAEA members are honored as both artists and educators. An MAEA juried exhibition highlights the importance of MAEA member creativity and passion for the arts.

MAEA recognizes excellence in the many outstanding individuals, state/province associations, and programs of MAEA/NAEA.
This membership program focuses professional attention on quality art education and exemplary art educators from across the state.
Are you an MAEA member in need of supplies for your classes? MAEA will award up to $500 to aid in getting supplies for special projects that support state and national strategic goals and standards.
