Join us for an amazing art education experience this October.
The 2026 MAEA Conference will have small, in-person events in each of the four Regions on Friday, October 16th and our conference in person at Towson University on Saturday, October 17th. Participants may choose to attend Friday or Saturday or BOTH.
Each event will feature hands on art making, best practices in teaching, and an opportunity to connect with your art education community!
Participants will earn professional develop points towards their re-certification for attending.

State Conference and Awards
Join your art education community at Towson University Center for the Arts. The day will include presentations, panels, and round table discussions of current topics and trends in the field of art education. Support your professional practice with hands on workshops in professional printmaking, ceramics, and digital studios! Experience gallery exhibits of contemporary work from renowned regional and national artists. Leave with new ideas for teaching and learning in visual arts!
